You’re invited: Raise Your Glass in the name of Charity

You’re invited to attend Bottles & Corks’ free Annual Anniversary Charity Tasting & Wine Sale event this Thursday November 5, from 5 to 8pm, at their Market Street location.

Featuring over 50 wines and multi-level discounts, the fun and social event will be a great way for locals to support Corning Meals on Wheels while celebrating Bottles and Corks’ 22 years in business.

Bottles and Corks’ co-owner Mary Beth Grimaldi-Maxa said she was excited to be hosting the annual event again.

“I’m proud that when we hosted this event to support Corning Meals on Wheels two years ago, it was a great success, with donations feeding 100 Meals on Wheels recipients.  I really hope we can replicate that success again,” Ms Grimaldi-Maxa stated.

“We anticipate this event to be popular and encourage anyone interested in learning more about the range of wines we carry, to come along.”

Ms Grimaldi-Maxa explained that many of the featured wines have been hand picked from local, national and international sources, including a special table of premium wines that may interest those wine connoisseurs looking to expand their repertoire.

She said the diverse range of wines reflects the eclectic mix of customers, with some wines sourced based on customer requests.

“After 22 years serving the local community, we’re proud that many customers consider us a part of the Corning family and we take great pride in giving back to those in need,” Ms Grimaldi-Maxa said.

“Corning Meals on Wheels is an important charity for many locals and we’re delighted to be supporting them with this event.”

Corning Meals on Wheels delivers home-style meals to homebound and frail residents aged 60 years and older within the local community at no cost.
